Mysteriously Yours,

NL Quatrano
I love mysteries.  I love to read them, watch them and write them.   I've
adored these penned puzzles since I read my first Nancy Drew which
was a REALLY long time ago!  My romance roots with New Jersey
Romance Writers nurtured my love for happy endings - or at least, not
horrible ones, so MY mysteries are a blend of the two genres:
mainstream mysteries with happy endings.
As president of Sisters in Crime - Central Jersey in 2003, I was honored
to see the completion of a four-year long project of SinCCJ authors and
Clued In Press: CRIME SCENE NJ: Mysteries by Garden State Authors.
The year prior to my presidency, my story
Mayhem at Buckelew House
was accepted into that anthology. There are 13 OTHER wonderful
mysteries in this anthology - so for less than a dollar a story, you really
get your money's worth!
Edited by member Elaine Togneri, the book is a top shelf publication and
reviews have been great!  In 2006, this book went into a second printing
but copies are limited.
In December of 2006, Clued In Press delivered a second anthology:
CRIME SCENE NJ 2: More Mysteries by Garden State Authors.  The
first anthology did so well, there are plans to do one every couple of
years and I hope I can keep writing material that gets selected to be
included!  I'm in great company in this anthology, too - award winner
Pat Marinelli who also worked as editor on this volume, has two short
stories included.  As is the case with the first book, each story takes
place in a popular NJ location - so every story will lead you through a
different town on a different journey!
To order either of the CRIME SCENE NJ anthologies, double click on
the cover and print out an order form!  OR, if you're in Jamesburg, New
Jersey, you can get your copy of CRIME SCENE NJ (first volume) at
historical LAKEVIEW MANOR where a portion of the sale is donated to
the upkeep of the historical mansion where
MAYHEM takes place.  If
you're in St. Augustine, Florida, visit the Spanish Military Museum
(PRIME haunted location) and pick up both of these volumes in the book
store!
In December 2008, we're expecting Clued In Press to release CRIME
SCENE NJ3 - I'll keep you posted!
In the meantime, visit
www.sinccj.org  or www.sistersincrime.org
where there's a LOT of great mystery writing information.  I hope you'll
stop by and check it out.  In the meantime, I wish you only enjoyable
mysteries in your life!
